April 30, 2005-What is the Future of the Mendocino Coast?-A community action event, film "The End of Suburbia-Oil Depletion and the Collapse of the Amercican Dream", presentations by Dr. Jason Bradford of WELL-Willits Economic Localization", Doug Mosel and Els Cooperider

June, 2005-CELL invites Madelin Holtcamp, memeber of the County Comprehensive Economic Developement Strategy (CEDS) committee. She spoke ofthe County's progressive economic strategies focusing on energy, water and diversification issues.

August 11, 2005 -Town Hall public meeting on Energy and Oil.

September 11th, 2005-A night of classic and influential films-"Plow That Broke the Plains and River"

September-November, 2005-Film "The End of Suburbia" in Fort Bragg, Elk, Point Arena and Albion.

December 2nd, 2005-CELL and Alliance for Democracy host an "Alternative Energy Forum" from 7-9 p.m. in Fort Bragg at Town Hall. Don Dane of Northern California Power Agency told how his public non-profit helps communities set up their own power districts.

December 8, 2005-Disaster Preparedness Forum-Public conversation with local authorities, physicians, schools and volunteer fire departments.

January 13, 2006-CELL offers facilitator training with Brian Weller of

WELL (Willits Economic Localization).

Febraury 25, 2006 -Coastal Food Chat-Food security meeting.

March 11, 2006-CELL invites John Jeavons of Bountiful Garden s -Ecology Action in Willits to talk about French Intensive organic gardening.

March 17, 2006-CELL and Alliance for Democracy host Frances Moore Lappe' author of "Diet For A Small Planet" talks atbout reviving Democracy.

March ,2006-Climate Change resolution ICLEI passed in Point Arena and Fort Bragg city councils.

July 21, 2006-Anna Lappe' speaks anbout the politics of Food Production and her new book "Grub-Ideas for and Urban Organic Kitchen"

August 4, 2006-Film "The Power of Community-How Cuba Survived Peak Oil"-Town Hall , Fort Bragg, public meeting following.

August 14, 2006-Mendocino County Board of Supervisors considers ICLEI resolution.

Ocotber, 2006-Month long campaign "C'Mon Home To Eat"-Sponsered by Mendocino County localization groups.

October 19-20, 2006-Economic Development Conference, Fort Bragg-Featured Sustainablility with Ben Cory-Moran and Jim Tarbell about Economic Economies, Cary Knecht on Sustainable Design, and Ken Smokoska on CCA and renewable energy.

Ocober 21, 2006-Com'n Home To Eat "Local Abundance Festival"-CELL and local food groups host a local abundance day of workshops and a local foods dinner.

February , 2007-Energy Forum,-Town Hall, Fort Bragg-Point Arena Teacher Matte Lappe' talks about energy conservation and tips he learned in a Climate Changeworkshop with Al Gore. Film shown-"Kilowatt Ours"-discussion following.
